Richard A. Kuklinca, 84, of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., died Monday, July 10, 2017, surrounded by his family, at Halifax Health Hospice, Edgewater, Fla. His death follows a lengthy illness.
He was born in West Middlesex to George and Anna Hrichko Kuklinca.
Richard served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. After working 30 years for General American Transportation Corp. and 10 for General Motors, he relocated to Florida, in 2008, from Sharpsville.
Mr. Kuklinca was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, VFW Post 4250, and America Legion Post 17.
Until the age of 64, he was still playing baseball, and also enjoyed other outdoor sports, such as hunting, fishing, and golfing. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather; he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Nettie; two daughters, Beth Mancuso and Dianne (Robert) Kemp, both of New Smyrna Beach; one granddaughter, Sophie Kemp, of New Smyrna Beach; one sister, Helen Routman, of Arizona; and many nieces and nephews.
Burial, with full military honors, will take place at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims, Fla.
