Quentin D. "Sam" Mattocks, 98, of Pulaski, passed away on Monday (May 14, 2018) at O'Briens Care Home in Masury.
Sam was born on Sept. 27, 1919, to David and Clara (Taylor) Mattocks in Sharpsville.
He worked as a foreman for Hall Lumber and Manufacture.
He was a veteran of World War II where he served in the Army.
He was also a very active member of the International Order of Odd Fellows IOOF and a life member of Clark Volunteer Fire Department.
Sam is survived by his son, Thomas Mattocks, and sister, Ethel Coppage.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, sons, Larry Mattocks and David Mattocks; first wife Marguerite Kelley; second wife Mary L. Miller; brothers, Harry, Paul, and George; and sisters, Martha, Alice, Clara, Louise, and Edith.
