Peggy Rose Juranovich, 86, of Sharon, passed away peacefully at 1:04 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017, in Clepper Manor CCRC, with her family by her side.
She was born April 10, 1931, to Lawrence Ord and Ina (Kerr) Lewis. A lifelong resident of Sharon, she was a 1949 graduate of Sharon High School.
Peggy was the beloved wife of William A. Juranovich, whom she married on Feb. 17, 1956, sharing 61 years of their life together.
During different periods of her life, she worked at the former Sharon Transformer Division of Westinghouse Electric, Boycans Supply, and Fashion Bug.
A devout homemaker, Peggy was proud of investing her time to taking care of her family.
She enjoyed shopping on QVC and HSN and going to lunches with her friends. Her greatest joy was being surrounded by family; Peggy's children and grandchildren were the light of her life, and she never missed an opportunity to attend their sporting events or extracurricular activities.
Her memory will be carried on by her husband, William A. Juranovich, of Sharon; three children, Dana (Ben) Guanciale, of Clarksburg, Md.; William B. (Marlee) Juranovich, of Sharon; Janine (Michael) Aaron, of Hubbard, Ohio; six grandchildren, Keri and Vincent Guanciale, Markee and Nicholas Juranovich, Bryan and Emily Aaron; beloved brothers and sisters in-laws; and many nieces and nephews.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Norma Tonks, LaWanda Heim, Lucille Bacelli, and infant Jeanine Lewis; and three brothers, Daniel, Benoit, and Henry Lewis.
The family would like to thank the staff at Clepper Manor and Three Rivers Hospice for their compassion and helping hands in Peggy's last days.
A humble woman, Peggy lived her life in a simple manner until the end. Her family will honor her wishes and proceed with private services. "She is clothed in strength and dignity and laughs without fear of the future."
