Paul Scharville, of Burghill, passed away at home Friday morning, June 16, 2017. He was 78.
He was born Jan. 16, 1939, in Sharon, the son of James and Helen Repas Scharville.
He was a veteran of the Marines, serving from 1957 to 1961.
Paul retired in 2000 as a carpenter from the Carpenters Local 171 in Youngstown. He was a 50-year member.
Paul belonged to the American Legion in Kinsman.
He was a former police marshal in Orangeville.
Paul loved hunting, fishing and going to flea markets. He also enjoyed being a master finish carpenter.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Gordon Scharville, whom he married May 26, 1978; a daughter, Leah (Robert) Prischak of Solon, Ohio; a son, Mark (Jacey McWilliams) Scharville of Hermitage; a step-son, Scott Fecik of Hartford; and two brothers, Michael (Patricia) Scharville of Raleigh, N.C., and James (Patricia) Scharville of Poland.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Calling hours: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday (6-20-17) at the GALLOWAY-ONSTOTT FUNERAL HOME, 3451 State Route 7, Hartford.
Memorial service: 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with the Rev. Mary Ann Rufener officiating.
Burial: Westview Cemetery, Vernon Township, with graveside committal service at 11 a.m. Wednesday (6-21-17) and military honors by Trumbull County Honor Guard.
