Norine Green Norine Green departed this life Oct. 7, 2018, at UPMC surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Green was born Feb. 10, 1950, in Sharon, a daughter of Noah Benjamin Jackson and Carrie Jackson-Smith.
She was a devoted homemaker who loved to spend time with her family and friends. She was a faithful member of Friendship Baptist Church, where she served on the usher board, deaconess board and the kitchen committee.
Her generous and loving spirit will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving children, Joe Jackson, Mary Lou Jackson-Fields and her husband, Charles, Cherise Tatum, Coffi Jackson and her husband, James, Willie Green Jr. and his wife, Fontinesse and Magnolia Green; her sisters, Mary Lou Howell and her husband, Clark, Rose Askin and Angel Thomas and her husband, Danny; her brother, Larry P. Williams; 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and dear friends, including her sisters-in-law, Naomi Green, Emmagene Williams and Annie Wise; her brother-in-law, Bruce Green; and her godson, Antonio Smith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Green Sr. whom she married May 8, 1970; her parents; Wilma Jean Thomas "Big Mama" who raised her; her sisters, Carol Ann Jackson "Bunny;" her brother, Terry (Bundle) Thomas; her sister-in-law, Mary Pearl Brown; her brothers-in-law, Roosevelt "Robe" Green and Joseph O. Green; her dear and close friends, Calvin and Calvin and Lillie Beers.

Norine, 68, of Sharon.
Calling hours: From 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday (10-11-18) at Friendship Baptist Church and at her residence in Sharon.
Service: Homegoing celebration will be 11 a.m. Thursday (10-11-18) at the church, with the Rev. Rayford Harris officiating.
Interment: Oakwood Cemetery.
