Nancy A. Wegrzynek

Nancy A. Wegrzynek, of Grove City (Wolf Creek Township), passed away Friday evening, July 5, 2019, in Grove Manor following a lengthy illness. She was 79.
Nancy was born in Franklin on Sept. 19, 1939, to Clarence and Margaret (Dickert) Carson.
She graduated from Franklin High School in 1957.
She married Edward J. Wegrzynek on Jan. 21, 1961; he preceded her in death on Feb. 20, 2017.
Together with her husband, they owned E.W. Tool and Die Co. of Jackson Center, where she was secretary for more than 40 years. She formerly had worked at Defrance Drug Store and Castle Stationery, both in Grove City.
She was a member of The Church of The Beloved Disciple. Nancy was a member of the Arby's Gals, who met weekly for lunch on Tuesdays at Grove City Arby's for the past 28 years.
Survivors include: two sons, Michael E. Wegrzynek and wife, Melissa, Grove City, and Douglas E. Wegrzynek, Jackson Center; two grandchildren, Michael J. Wegrzynek and wife, Janelle, Sandy Lake, and Jonathan E. Wegrzynek, Jackson Center; a great-grandson, Peyton Wegrzynek, Sandy Lake; a brother, Larry Carson and wife, Sue, Oil City; and her cat, Cali.
Her parents, husband, a sister, Donna Green, and a brother, John Carson, preceded Nancy in death.

Calling hours: 4 to 7 p.m. Monday (7-8-19) in CUNNINGHAM FUNERAL HOME INC., 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City, and 10 to 10:45 a.m. Tuesday (7-9-19) in the Day Chapel of Church of the Beloved Disciple, 1310 S. Center St. Extension, Grove City.
Service: Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the church with Fr. Michael Allison as celebrant.
