Nancy L. Urey of Pine Township, Grove City, went home to the Lord on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018, in Allegheny General Hospital following a sudden illness. She was 75.
Nancy was born in Meadville on Jan. 28, 1942, to John and Louise (Cokaine) Kreiter. She married William E. Urey on Oct. 2, 1965.
She was a graduate of Grove City High School.
Nancy was a homemaker and formerly was employed at Bashline Hospital and Grove City College.
Nancy was a member of East Main Presbyterian Church. She belonged to the Christian Friends Sunday school class and served the church as a deacon and Sunday school teacher.
Survivors include her husband, Bill, at home; two sons, Michael Urey and Amy of Mercer and Mathew Urey and Tim Smith of Greensboro; two grandchildren, Shane and Rachael Urey; three sisters, Joan Shaw and Jane Meals and husband, Larry, both of Erie and Carol Wysoski and husband, Ray, of Meadville. Her daughter, Sharon Lynn Urey Hanford, preceded Nancy in death.
