Michaelyn "Mickey"'s Story
Michaelyn "Mickey" Saxon, 62, passed away Sept. 5, 2017, in Edinboro Manor from ALS, Lou Gehrig's disease.
Mickey was born May 23, 1955, in Sharon, a daughter of John and Janet Saxon, Clark.
She was a 1973 graduate of Sharpsville High School.
She relocated to Texas and resided there for many years. Mickey was employed by Brink's Security in both Florida and Texas.
Mickey returned to Pennsylvania, where most of her family resides. She was employed at Lowe's and Kohl's.
Mickey enjoyed traveling, the sandy beaches of Florida, gardening and time spent with friends and family. She touched all who met her and will be sadly missed.
Surviving are her parents, John and Janet Saxon; sisters, Brenda Tishov and April Lazor; brother-in-law, Gary Lazor; niece, Jessica Clark; and nephew, Chris Joseph.
Family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation for the love and care provided at Edinboro Manor and Southern Care Hospice.
A memorial gathering will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Monday (9-11-17) in Hickory Grille, 1645 N. Hermitage Road, Hermitage.
