Michael Carmen Rossi, 61, of Mentor, Ohio, passed away suddenly Saturday ( Jan. 13, 2018).
Born May 30, 1956, in Sharon, Michael was a graduate of Sharon High School and Clarion University. He was an avid football fan who played in high school and college.
His career in Cleveland was in the wholesale floral industry where he worked in sales and management for more than 35 years.
The beloved husband of Diane Skipper, he is survived by: Diane; his mother, Mickey (Mae); brothers, James (Jeanne) and John (Cheryl); mother-in-law Carolee Skipper; brothers-in-law David, Tom (Rose) Skipper; sister-in-law Cathy (Chris) Stzempka and many adored nieces, nephews and cousins.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Carmen Rossi ,and many beloved aunts and uncles.
Michael was a beautiful soul who always put the needs of others ahead of his own. He will be deeply missed by his family and a legion of life-long friends.
A celebration of his life will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday (1-27-18) at LaMalfa Banquet Hall, 5783 Heisley Road, Mentor. An informal tribute will begin at noon with luncheon to follow.
