Melvin H. Williams, Jackson Center, Pa., passed away at 8:35 a.m., Saturday, July 29, 2017, in Allegheny General Hospital of natural causes. He was 83.
Born June 23, 1934, in Sharon, Pa., to Virgil F. and Emily C. Corns Williams.
He attended Stoneboro Schools.
Melvin retired from ITT Reznor as a trucker for over 32 years.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran and served during the Korean War.
He loved working on lawnmowers and was a Steelers, Pirates and NASCAR fan.
He is survived by his companion of over 40 years, Robin Weaver at home, five daughters: Teresa Anderson, Va., Chrissy Williams, Sharon, Pa., Tammy Williams, Whitney (Michael) Marsh, all Jackson Center and Taylor (Wesley Wike) Williams, Barkeyville, Pa.; five sons: Tod (Sharon) Williams, N. Carolina, Brian (Stephanie) Williams, Pittsburgh, Pa., Danny Williams, Conneaut Lake, Pa., Terry (Lynn) Williams, Virginia and Bradley Williams, Greenville, Pa.; 26 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; also two sisters: Carol "Tots" Thompson, Ky., and Barbara "Lou" Peth, Va.
Preceded in death by parents, a sister Vivian "Sis" Muldovan and three brothers: David, Paul and Glenn Williams.
