Matthew's Story

Matthew Manfredi, 55, of Mercer, passed away at 1:26 p.m. Friday, Dec. 15, 2017, at Grove City Medical Center, Pine Township, after an apparent heart attack.
He was born Nov. 7, 1962, in McKees Rocks to Louise J. Iampietro Manfredi and Nicholas A. Manfredi Sr.
Matt worked at Minteq International in Slippery Rock and was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Mercer.
Matt was known as the wheelie king of Mercer. He belonged to several motorcycle organizations over the years and he lived his life full of dirt bikes and street bikes.
Matt is survived by his two sons: Mario Manfredi, of Mercer and Logan Smith, of West Middlesex; and one sister, Lou Ann, wife of Larry Zitko, of Mercer.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Nicholas A. Manfredi Jr.

Memorial service: 11 a.m. Saturday (1-20-18) at CUNNING-HAM FUNERAL HOME Inc., 144 S. Pitt St., Mercer, with the Very Rev. Matthew Kujawinski, V.F., of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church officiating.
Burial: All Saints Cemetery, Jefferson Township.
