Mary "Jane" Peterson, 84, of 339 E. Jamestown Road, Greenville, (West Salem Township), formerly of 49 Plum St., Greenville, passed away at 3:05 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 27, 2017, at St. Paul's in Greenville.
Jane was born in Sharon on May 11, 1933, to the late James and Madeline (Haas) Sherman.
She worked at Greenville Hospital for 35 years as an LPN.
She was married to Clifford L. "Mike" Peterson on Dec.11, 1954. He preceded her in death on Dec. 23, 1995.
Survivors include a daughter, Deborah Marie Montgomery, and her husband, Stephen, of Pittsburgh; a sister, Kathleen Rueberger of Hermitage; two grandchildren; and a son-in-law, Richard Lapadat of McKean.
She also was preceded in death by her daughter, Judith Ann Lapadat, and a brother, John S. Sherman.
