Mary C. Kacerski of Burghill, Vernon Township, Trumbull County, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2016, in Whitecliff Nursing Home, Hempfield Township. She was 88.
She was born Sept. 1, 1928, in Pulaski, a daughter of Joseph and Katherine Lach Romian.
Mary was a graduate of West Middlesex High School.
After working 30 years as a cook for the Joseph Badger School District, she retired as head cook at the Vernon Elementary and Middle schools.
She belonged to St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in Sharon.
She married Chester S. Kacerski on July 20, 1946. He preceded her in death on Dec. 30, 2014.
Mary is survived by: a daughter, Ann Blyth, Mentor, Ohio; a son, Joe (Cheryl) Kacerski, Kinsman; three grandchildren, Steven and Julie Kacerski and Amanda Duitsman; and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, two brothers and her son-in-law, Lynn Blyth.

Burial: Westview Cemetery, Vernon Township, Trumbull County, Ohio.
