Martha's Story

Martha M. "Toni" Walters, 84, of Grove City. passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2017, in Grove City Medical Center after a three-month illness.
Toni was born in Slickville, Westmoreland County, on May 6, 1933, to the late Bert C. and Mary McAfee Walters. She graduated from Bell Township High School (now Kiski Area) in 1951.
Toni moved to Grove City in 1951 and joined Tower Presbyterian Church. Montgomery Construction Co. and later Harshaw's Insurance Co. employed her until 1987. At that time, she moved to Erie and was employed by Renshaw, Hart, Grab and McConahy Insurance Co. In 1998, she returned to Grove City and worked part-time at P.S. Hallmark and RX Express.
A niece, Debbie Keough, New Martinsville, W.Va., survives Toni. In addition to her parents a sister, Louise Keough, and a brother-in-law, Jake Keough, preceded her in death.
