Marley was born June 20, 1930 in Hartford, the only child of Marlin and Minnie Stone Jones.
He was a 1948 graduate of Hartford High School, where he played baseball and basketball and ran track.
He retired as a co-owner with his wife of Jones Processing in Hartford. They started the business in 1963.
He was also employed as a meat cutter for Melonis' Market in Vernon and Wilson's Market in Orangeville many years ago.
Marley was a lifelong member of the Hartford Community Church, where he served as a deacon.
He was a member of the Hartford Masonic Lodge #19 F.&A.M.; a 32nd Degree Mason in Coudersport, Pa., and a member of the former Hartford Grange.
He enjoyed hunting, being outdoors and playing euchre with his friends.
He is survived by: his wife, Phyllis Pyle Jones, whom he married Jan. 10, 1951; a daughter, Marlys (Michael) Brajer of Hartford; two sons, Terry (Tina) Jones of Hartford and Mark (Becky) Jones of Audabon, Iowa; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Service: Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 15, 2016, at the Hartford Community Church, 3312 State Route 7, Hartford, conducted by Rev. Gary Meikle.
Burial: Hartford Township Cemetery.
