Marjorie L.'s Story
Marjorie L. Peters passed away Friday morning, June 2, 2017, at Nugent's Continuing Retirement Community in Hermitage. She was 89.
Marjorie was born March 13, 1928, in Sharon, a daughter of the late Oliver and Lucile (Sloth) Kirkland.
She was a graduate of Hickory High School, Hermitage, and was a member of St. Stanislaus Church.
She was a proud homemaker and an Avon representative. She was in the Presidents Club of Avon; enjoyed gardening flowers, sewing, and golfing; and was an avid bowler.
She will be deeply missed by: her daughters, Valli M. Flesher, Pamela A. Stroupe, and Cindy J. Mele; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three sisters.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard Peters, whom she married Aug. 23, 1948, and who passed away Sept. 4, 1993; and three sisters.

Service: Funeral at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
Burial: Brookfield Township Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her husband.
