Marjorie L. "Margie" Bindas, Stoneboro, passed away peacefully at 4:21 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2017, in Orchard Manor Nursing Home, Grove City, after a short illness. She was 72.
She was born March 19, 1945, in Grove City to John and Sara E. Montgomery Bindas.
Margie attended Lakeview High School. She worked at Grove City Hospital and then worked for more than 41 years in the housekeeping department at Grove City Medical Center. She retired from there in 2012.
She was a longtime member of the Schofield United Methodist Church, Millbrook, and then became a member of the Hendersonville United Methodist Church, where she remained active helping with dinners and church activities.
She was a member of the Lady Worth Rebekah Lodge 328, Sandy Lake.
Margie was an avid reader, loved novels and reading about the Amish. She love watching the Pittsburgh Penguins, Steelers and Pirates. She especially enjoyed spending her time with family, especially her nieces and nephews.
Survivors include a sister, Amy (Robert) Gildersleeve, Grove City; three brothers, Lloyd D. (Nancy) Bindas of Sandy Lake, John Howard (Norma) Bindas of Hadley and Nelson L. (Diane) Bindas of Franklin.
Many loving nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

Service: Funeral at 11 a.m. Saturday (11-25-17) in the funeral home, with the Rev. Janet R. Pratt, pastor, Methodists United In Faith, assisted by Evelyn Beebe, pastor, Millbrook Presbyterian Church.
Interment: Mt. Irwin Cemetery, Irwin Township.
