Margaret A. (Wilds) Kaltenbaugh, Sandy Lake, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday (Aug. 15, 2017) in Grove Manor Nursing Home, Grove City. She was 92.
She was born Sept. 19, 1924, in Andrews, N.C., to Claude A. and Helen S. Taylor Angel.
She graduated in 1940 from Andrews High School.
Margaret retired from Polk Center in 1985 where she worked 10 years as a residential service aide. Most of all she was a homemaker and was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She was a member of the Sandy Lake Wesleyan Church where she taught Sunday school and was a part of the women's ministry. She also attended Oak Grove Church for several years.
She enjoyed reading, gardening and growing flowers.
Her first husband, Rev. David S. Wilds, whom she married Nov. 5, 1942, preceded her in death on Aug. 12, 1984; she then married C. Dale Kaltenbaugh Sept. 28, 1991, and he passed away March 25, 2014.
She is survived by: her children, Ann Schmiedeke, Wolf Creek Township, Vivian Beegle, Antioch, Tenn., Cecelia (Gary) Godfrey, Mercer, David R. (Lorrie) Wilds, Hadley, and Richard B. (Wanda) Wilds, Mercer; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; three siblings: Ann (Loyal) Trull, Ashville, N.C., Mattie (Edward) Seagle, Virginia Beach, Va., and C. Gene (Betty) Angel, Greenville, Miss.
In addition to her parents and husbands, a daughter, Karen R. Wilds, a grandson, Andrew David Wilds, and a son-in-law, Bernard Schmiedeke, preceded her in death.

Service: 11 a.m. Saturday (8-19-17) in the church with Rev. Roger Overmyer, pastor of visitation, Oak Grove Church, officiating.
Interment: Oak Hill Cemetery, Sandy Lake Township.
