Margaret Catherine Forrest, 95, of Hermitage, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 18, 2017, in her home with family at her side.
Margaret was born on Feb. 20, 1922, to Frank and Margaret (Egged) Szarvas in Sharpsville.
She was a graduate of Sharpsville High School. Margaret was affectionately known as a homemaker.
On Nov. 20, 1946, she married Richard Charles Forrest Sr., who passed away March 2, 1980.
She was a member of HIS Gospel Ministries. Margaret enjoyed gardening, cooking, reading, bowling, and most important to her was spending time with family.
Margaret was the matriarch of her family. She relished this role, and enfolded her loved ones with her constant strength, courage, grace and her boundless faith that "All will be well." Margaret was a perpetual example of selflessness, and her unique appreciation for life's simplicities was contagious. Anyone in her presence was humbled by her sincerity, and blessed by her sense of peace. Margaret will be missed greatly, and loved always.
Margaret is survived by her daughter, Emma J. (John J.) Povanda of Hermitage, and their children, Johnnie (Jennifer), Tanya (Michael), Joshua (Tiffany); son, Richard C.
