Marcia R. Hamelly, 68, of Grove City (Liberty Township) passed away Saturday morning Dec. 9, 2017, following an illness since July 2015.
Marcia was born in Gloucester, Mass. on June 25, 1949, to Robert D. and Marion P. (Haselgard) Stanton. She married James L. Hamelly on Jan. 15, 1971.
She was a member of North Liberty Presbyterian Church.
Marcia was a homemaker and over the years had worked at various businesses in the Grove City and Slippery Rock area.
She was a 1968 graduate of Grove City High School.
Survivors include her husband, Jim, at home; four children, a daughter, Bobbi (Jason) Ser, Hermitage, and three sons, Ron (Melissa) Hamelly, Grove City, Alan (Jessica) Hamelly, Jackson Center, Curtis (Heather) Hamelly, Grove City; 13 grandchildren; three sisters, Nancy Stanton, Frederick, Md., Shirley Cramer, Fredericktown, Ohio and Joyce Lewandoski, Frederick, Md.; and a brother, Edwin Stanton, Washington, Mo.
Her parents preceded Marcia in death.

Burial: North Liberty Cemetery.
