Lisa M. Long, of Burghill formerly of Vienna, passed away on Friday afternoon Jan. 25, 2019, while a patient in the Cleveland Clinic. She was 51 years old.
She was born on Jan. 24, 1968, in Warren, Ohio, and the fourth child of Donald P. and JoAnne M. (Cavalier) Bukofchan.
Lisa was an alumna of Mathews High School, attended Youngstown State University, and graduated from the Trumbull Memorial School of Radiologic Technology.
She began her career at Trumbull Memorial Hospital where she has worked for the past 25 years. She was the lead X-ray technologist in her department.
Lisa was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and above all a selfless friend to countless people. She courageously went through life with an optimistic "a cup half full" outlook. Her family and friends always came first no matter what. She would help anyone at the drop of a hat.
She leaves behind her husband Gary L. Long, whom she married on March 28, 1998; their children, Alexis K. Long of Columbus, Ohio, and Steven J. Long at home; her mother, JoAnne Bukofchan of Vienna; her siblings, Kim Achey (Clay) of Hunstville, Ala., Dr. Dan Bukofchan (Dora) of Brookville, Ind., Don Bukofchan (Bridgette) of Niles, and Lynn Pegg (Jim) of Vienna; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charles and Kathleen Long of Vienna; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father.

Service: Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday (1-31-19) at the St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Vienna, with the Rev. Frank Zanni V.F. officiating.
Burial: Holy Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Hermitage.
