Lewis M. Vesco, 87, of Mercer, passed away at Countryside, East Lackawannock Township, at 12:44 a.m. Monday, Jan. 1, 2018.
Mr. Vesco was born Nov. 10, 1930, in Ellsworth to Domenick and Josephine Costello Vesco.
Lewis married Angeline Parrinello Vesco on Sept. 8, 1954. They celebrated 63 years of marriage.
Mr. Vesco was a corporal in the Army Air Force. He was a teacher of agricultural education at Commodore Perry High School in Hadley. He also taught mechanics, electronics and metal shop. Lewis received his master's degree from Penn State University.
Mr. Vesco is survived by his wife, at the residence; a son, Dale Vesco, Mercer; a sister, Mary Englert, Pittsburgh; and a brother-in-law, Joe Parrinello, Pittsburgh.
He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Domenick and Sam Vesco.
The family would like to thank the staff at Countryside for their care and compassion and family and friends for their prayers and support.
