Lester L. Lampkins, 75, of Wheatland, died Wednesday (Dec. 20, 2017), at his residence.
Lampkins was born on Dec. 5, 1942, in Sharon, to Joseph Lampkins Sr. and Margaret Ramsey Lampkins.
He was employed for 12 years as a courier for First National Bank and for 27 years as a laborer at Sharon Steel.
He is survived by: his children, Michelle Lampkins, of Washington D.C., and Lester (Kassy) Lampkins Jr. of Alexandria, Va.; a grandson, DeVante Lampkins of Alexandria; two sisters, Martha Kelly, of Farrell and Beverly Harris, of Oakland, Calif.; and a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He is preceded in death by: his parents; his wife, Clara Quarrells Lampkins; a sister, Mary Ellen Logan; and three brothers, Paul, Ralph, and Joseph Jr.

Service: 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home, with Bishop Sally Saunders, co-pastor of Hour of Power, officiating.
