Mrs. Leslie Denise Gordon Johnson, 60, of Farrell, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 10, 2019, surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Johnson was born Jan. 25, 1959, in Sharon, a daughter of Carroll F. and Rebecka M. (Haynes) Gordon.
She was a 1977 graduate of Farrell Area High School and she attended Point Park College in Pittsburgh.
Leslie was formerly employed as a CNA with Sunbridge Healthcare Center and Sharon Regional Medical System.
Mrs. Johnson attended Greater New and Living Way Apostolic Church, where she served as a member of the culinary ministry, Theater/Arts, and gospel choir.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, Larry Johnson, whom she married Dec. 18, 2010; her daughter, Shamera D. Gordon and her companion, Antoine; her grandson, Lorenzo Jackson, all of Farrell; her sisters, Jaenice Scott, Apostle Jennifer L. Campbell, Michelle Gordon; her brother, Elder Jeffrey L. and his wife, Lannette Gordon; a host of other relatives including her god sister, Linda (James) Petway; her sister in love, Adrienne Gordon; and a host of dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents; her infant daughter, Doniece; her brothers, Franklin and Charles Gordon; and two great-nephews.

Visitation: 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday (3-16-19) at Greater New and Living Way Apostolic Church, Hermitage.
Friends may call at the home of Joseph Gordon, 814 Park Ave., Farrell.
Home-going celebration: 10 a.m. Saturday at the church. Bishop Alvin J. McCoy will officiate and her sister, Apostle Jennifer L. Campbell, will deliver the eulogy.
Interment: Oakwood Cemetery.
Ministry of comfort and transitional care entrusted to J.E. WASHINGTON FUNERAL SERVICES Inc., 1059 Hamilton Ave., Farrell.
