Leo D. "Dave" Knight, formerly of Sandy Lake passed away at the UPMC Hamot, Erie, on Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2017. He was 65.
He was born in Oil City, Pa., on Nov. 23, 1951, a son of the late Leo Francis and Wilda May (Ward) Knight.
Dave, as he was known to his family and friends, was a graduate of Cranberry High School, Seneca, and had worked as a farm hand for many years.
In the early 1990s, Dave relocated to the Sandy Lake area, where he enjoyed participating in the community activities and had acquired many life long friendships. He was associated with the Sandy Lake Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company and enjoyed being a part of the fire police within the department.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the ROBERT L. SNYDER FUNERAL HOME and CREMATORY, Inc., 3223 Perry Highway, Sheakleyville.
