Kimberly Adele Cooper Brooks


Kimberly Adele Cooper Brooks died on June 6, 2019, in the loving care and home of her daughter in Woodstock, Ga.
Kim was born on Jan. 10, 1956, to Jean E. Cooper (nee Arkward) and Edward Maclin Cooper at Sharon General Hospital in Sharon and graduated from Sharon High School in 1973.
She continued her education, receiving a master's degree in psychology from Argosy University in 2004 and a Master of Divinity degree from Emory University in 2009. She was children's pastor at Ingleside United Methodist Church and Vineville United Methodist Church, and later, chaplain at Clairmont Crest Senior Living Community.
Kim is deeply missed by her mother, Jean E. Cooper Matthews; her devoted daughter, Toi Shambry; son-in-law, Fred Shambry; grandson, Ferren Shambry; her siblings; many cousins, family, close friends and countless others.
Kim was preceded in death by her father, Edward M. Cooper, a beloved nephew, dear cousins and many blessed elders.

My fondest childhold memory of Kim was was her kindness, faith, and strong will personality to complete any task that she went after. She will be missed by all who evey know her. Our Sympathy to her family.

You have my deepest sympathy for the lost of your beloved family member.I will always love Kim because not only was she was my coworker but my mentor ,counselor friend whether she was giving encouraging words or correcting me or praying together we always had a smile and laughter each day.I will miss her and cherish the memories forever.I was blessed to have known Kim and I know she is shouting and praising in Heaven right now .May God bless you and keep you doing this time.
