Kenneth R. Sump, 68, of Burghill, Ohio, Hartford Township, passed away at his home on Wednesday evening, Sept. 13, 2017.
He was born Aug. 23, 1949, in Sharon, the son of Paul and Eloise Morrison Sump.
He was a graduate of Sharpsville High School.
Ken was a retired self-employed farmer. He had also worked at Dean Dairy in South Pymatuning Township for three years.
He was of the protestant faith.
He belonged to the NRA, the Mecca Moose Club and was a life member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Federation.
Ken enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and woodworking.
Ken is survived by his companion, Mary Witchey; a daughter, Tina (Jeff) DeSalvo of New Castle; a son, Brian Sump of Greenville; a grandson, James DeSalvo; a sister, Thelma Achenbach of New Jersey; and a brother, Robert Sump of Greenville.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
