Kenneth D. Fretwell, of Sandy Lake, passed away peacefully at 2 a.m., Friday (Sept. 1, 2017) in Orchard Manor Nursing Home, Grove City. He was 66.
Born Jan. 20, 1951, in Elkins, W.Va., he was a son of Charles J. and Mary Kathryn Hansford Fretwell.
He attended Lakeview Schools and then went to work at MCAR in Hermitage as an assembler for many years.
He was a member of the Evangelical Wesleyan Church, of Cooperstown.
Kenny loved the outdoors and loved to ride his bike up and down the road and always had a smile and a wave as he greeted those he would see. People's names were very important to him, and he always called everyone by their name. He also helped his brother take care of the house and the yard.
He leaves behind his brother, Charles J. "Jack" Fretwell, at home, and a sister, Carolyn (James) Allen of Butler.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Service: Funeral at 10 a.m. Monday (9-4-17) in the funeral home, with the Rev. Timothy Yauger, pastor, Evangelical Wesleyan Church, officiating.
Interment and committal service: Zion Cemetery, Worth Township.
