Katie L. Odem, 89, formerly of Farrell, died Aug. 10, 2019.
Mrs. Odem was born Aug. 29, 1929, in Goodwater, Ala., to Eddie and Annie Gunn Phillips.
She retired from Sharon Regional and was a member of Community Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors are two sons, William E. and Raymond (Joy) Odem, both of Washington; two daughters, Mary A. Chikwinya, Washington, and Joyce M. (Troy) Harrison, Farrell; two sisters, Betty Winston and Mary Odem; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Husband Otis Odem died 2001.
In lieu of flowers, a love donation for a scholarship in her name for Farrell schools will be appreciated.

Calling hours: 10 a.m. Friday (8-16-19)at the Community Missionary Baptist Church.
Service: 11 a.m. Friday with Rev. Troy Hunter, pastor, as eulogist.
