Kathleen's Story

Kathleen M. Ringer, 70, of Mercer, passed away at UPMC Passavant McCandless, Pittsburgh, at 5:40 p.m. Wednesday (Jan. 31, 2018) after a lengthy illness.
Kathie was born in Grove City on Oct. 15, 1947, to Clair M. and Irene Filer Ringer.
Kathie was formerly a teacher at Mercer Elementary School.
She was a member of Mercer United Methodist Church.
Kathie is survived by: two brothers, Howard "Jim" Ringer and his wife Jean, and Don Ringer, all of Mercer; a nephew, James Ringer and his wife, Bethany, of Raleigh, N.C.; two nieces, Jeanna Hanna and her husband, Jarod Steward, of Sewickley, and Jodie and her husband, Eric Mount, of Shippenville; six great-nephews; four great-nieces; and Molly and Katie the family pets.
Kathie was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Linda Joyce Ringer.

Calling hours: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday (2-2-18) and 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday (2-3-18) at CUNNINGHAM FUNERAL HOME Inc, 144 S. Pitt St., Mercer.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Brian Keller of Mercer United Methodist Church officiating.
Burial: Findley Cemetery, Findley Township.
