Kathleen Fennell, 93, formerly of Sunset Avenue, Grove City, passed away at 11 p.m. Monday, Feb. 5, 2018, at Grove Manor, where she was a resident for the last two years.
She was born in Vandergrift, Pa., on Jan. 17, 1925, to Arthur Eugene and Anna Saxon Russell Bier.
Kay married Leland C. Fennell on April 27, 1957. He died on Sept. 23, 2005.
She was a homemaker; member of East Main Presbyterian Church since 1958; a 1943 graduate of Vandergrift High School; member of Grove City Women's Club and the OES Chapter 86, Grove City; and a former member of the church choir.
She is survived by: one son: David Fennell; four grandchildren: Kirk Fennell and his wife Diane in Canal Fulton, Ohio; Stephanie White in Ohio; Lindsay wife of Phil Stillwagon in Grove City; Joshua Riddle and his wife Jessica in Grove City; nine great-grandchildren: Meghan, Meredith, Matthew and Luke Fennell; Braeden and Brevin White; Ella and Remi Stillwagon; Emmaleah Davis; one sister, Bernie, wife of Rolland Ackelson in Wyomissing, Pa.; and family friends Ruth and Jack King in Grove City and their daughter Melissa.
Kay was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, Daniel Fennell; one sister, Jane Eloise Bier; and one brother, Kenneth Bier.

Funeral: Noon Friday (2-9-18) in the funeral home with Rev. Bill Hoffman of East Main Presbyterian Church officiating.
Burial: Prairie Cemetery, Harrisville.
