Katharine C. Elliott, 77, of Hermitage passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Aug. 6, 2017, at her home.
She was born in Sharon on Sept. 10, 1939, the only daughter of James Arthur and Ruth Katharine (MacMullan) Elliott.
Kate was a 1957 graduate of Hickory High School and an alumnus of Robert Morris University.
She worked as an accountant for General Foods; Elliott and Finucane, Goddard, Thomas in Youngstown; and Dunbar Slag.
Kate leaves behind to cherish her memory: her sisters-in-law, Rosemary Elliott of Duxbury, Mass., and Roberta Elliott of New Sewickley Township, Beaver County; her five nieces and two nephews whom she adored; eight great-nephews; and six great-nieces.
Preceding her in death were: her parents; two brothers, David Arthur Elliott and John Edward Elliott; and her nephew, David Arthur Elliott.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Kate's memory may be made to the American Lung Association through the funeral home.

Interment: Private, next to her parents in Oakwood Cemetery.
