Karen L. Walter
Karen L. Walter, 65, of Masury, died at 8:20 a.m. Wednesday, (Oct. 2, 2019) in Sharon Regional Medical Center after a brief illness.
She was born Nov. 20, 1953, in Farrell, a daughter of William and Kathern Poorbaugh.
Karen was a graduate of Farrell High School and was an assembler for Reznor in Mercer for six years.
She was a member of East Gate Christian Church in Sharpsville.
Karen enjoyed crocheting, fishing, spending time with her family and camping. She was a big fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
She is survived by: her husband at home, Joseph Walter, whom she married June 28, 2001; a daughter, Jennifer Panner and her fiancé Scott Knapp of Hermitage; three sons, Scott Panner and his wife Michelle, Robby Panner and Chris Panner, all of Masury; three brothers, Gail Poorbaugh and Tim Poorbaugh, both of Ohio, and Kevin Poorbaugh of California; and six grandchildren, Tiffany, Mackenzie, Chase, Sierra, Dannielle and Eric.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband, Daniel Panner.

Memorial service: 6 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Gary Gill officiating.
