Judith E.'s Story
Judith E. Vanderveen Martin Swartz, of Grove City, Liberty Township, passed away at 5:18 p.m.n Monday, June 19, 2017, in the emergency department of Grove City Medical Center due to injuries she received in an automobile accident in Butler County. She was 57.
She was born Aug. 24, 1959, in Grove City, a daughter of Sidney L. and Twila M. Clark Vanderveen.
Judy was a 1977 graduate of Lakeview High School and attended college in Pittsburgh.
She was always a very bubbly, fun person to be around.
Judy worked most of her life in customer service and spent the last few years as a homemaker taking care of her granddaughter. She loved reading, cross stitch and spending time with her family.
She will be greatly missed by her children, Jamie Martin and her fiance, Brent Roberts, Robert "Gunner" Martin and Chelsea Martin; her former husband, Bruce Martin; grandchildren, Blake and Ethan Roberts and Carmen Cushing; her siblings: Jeannie Kudiak McBride, Debbie Dickey and Steve Vanderveen and his wife, Linda; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, her mother Twila M. (Vanderveen) Corless and her husband, Thomas E. Swartz.

Memorial service: 7 p.m. Wednesday in the church, with the Rev. Dr. Robert G. McCreight, pastor, officiating.
Inurnment: Oak Grove Cemetery, Fairview Township, Mercer.
