Judith A. Armstrong


Judith A. "Judy" Armstrong, of Espyville, formerly of Blacktown, passed peacefully at home on Sunday morning, Aug. 11, 2019, from complications with COPD. She was 61.
Judy was born in Grove City on Nov. 14, 1957, to Howard E. and Bertha J. (Ketler) Jones. She married Jeffrey C. Armstrong on June 28, 1997. He survives at home.
She was a graduate of Grove City High School in 1975 and Mercer County Vocational Technical School where she received her degree in nursing.
Judy was employed as a nurse by Andover Village Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Andover, Ohio, and formerly worked at O'Brien Memorial Health Care Center, Masury, for 25 years.
Judy loved fishing, camping and riding motorcycles but mostly spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Jeff, at home, two children, April Lynn Bobbert and husband Josh, Volant and Chad J. Turner and wife Kitty J. Turner, New Castle; two stepchildren, Nicole Armstrong and Tyler Armstrong and fiancee Leah Correia, both of Hermitage; 10 grandsons; her father, Howard Jones, Grove City; two sisters, Darlene Stokes, and Evelyn May and husband Harry, both of Mercer, and a brother, Charles Jones and wife Darlene, Mercer.
Her mother, Bertha Jones, preceded Judy in death.

Calling hours: From 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday (8-16-19) at CUNNINGHAMM FUNERAL HOME INC., 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City.
Service: Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday (8-16-19) in the funeral home.
Burial: Carpenter Cemetery, Mercer.
