Joseph C. DiFrischia

Mr. Joseph C. DiFrischia, 59, of Sharon passed away in Mercer County.
Joseph was born on Aug. 6, 1957, in Rochester, Pa., to Joseph M. DiFrischia and Mary DiFrischia of Chippewa Township.
He was a member of the Blackhawk High School class of 1975 and Chippewa United Methodist Church. He had served as a security specialist with the United States Air Force from Jan. 23, 1976, until his discharge on Nov. 1, 1976.
A barber by trade, Joe had been the owner and operator of Thornton Hall Barber Shop in Sharon for many years. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, hunting, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and watching WWE Wrestling. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
Joe is survived by his mother, Mary; his daughter, Brie Hilton, Sharon; his sons, Bradley DiFrischia, Tennessee, and Bryan DiFrischia, Greenville; his five grandchildren; and his sisters, Debra (Barry) Balmer, Big Beaver, Pa., and Patricia M. Connell, Indiana, Pa.
He was preceded in death by his father and by his wife, Melissa Ann Hilton DiFrischia.

Service: A private graveside service was held for the family on Wednesday (11-9-16) at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Perry Township. Military honors where conducted by the Veterans Honor Guard. The family requests you view the obituary and sign the guestbook at
