John Eugene Wilson


John Eugene Wilson passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2019, at his son Bob's house in Corinth, Texas, of natural causes.
John was born on Aug. 30, 1925, in Sharon, the second son of four to Alverta and Fred Wilson.
John served in the U.S. Navy in World War II, after which he married his wife, Gilberta M. Fromm. They then settled in West Middlesex.
John worked at the Sawhill mill for 40 years until his retirement in 1988.
John was a down-to-earth family man who loved nothing more than spending time with his children and grandchildren. His passion was golf, which he played into his 80s.
John and Gilberta were members of Church of the Good Shepherd, West Middlesex.
He was preceeded in death by his wife, Gilberta, and his brothers, Wendell and Howard.
He is remembered lovingly by his children John of Colorado, Bob and Sheila both of Texas, and his brother, George, of the Sharon area.
