John E. Travaglini, 53, formerly of West Homer Street, Greenville, passed away Saturday evening, Dec. 9, 2017, in St. Paul's.
He was born in Greenville on Dec. 28, 1963, a son of Nicholas and Rosalie (Brindle) Travaglini.
He was an electrical graduate of the New Castle School of Trade where he was near the top of his class. John was a skilled electrician, carpenter and auto mechanic.
He enjoyed fishing and was a loyal listener of classic rock-n-roll. He was an animal lover, especially dogs, and had a close relationship with Toree, the golden retriever therapy dog that visited him frequently at St. Paul's.
He is survived by a brother, James Travaglini; four sisters, Barbara McClimans, Susan Travaglini, Rosemarie Travaglini, and Jennie Kather and her husband, Todd, all of Greenville; two nephews, Stephen Maietta and his wife, Sarah, and Erik Travaglini; and a niece, Nicolette McClimans.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
The family would like to thank St. Paul's and the hospice staff for the compassion and care during the last year of John's life.
