John H. Staul Jr.

John H. Staul Jr., 79, of Lower Allen Township, Camp Hill, died Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2018, at Geisinger Holy Spirit Hospital after an extended illness.
John worked in the retail grocery business for more than 50 years as an owner of the New Wilmington Food Center, supervisor at Golden Dawn and A&P. Grandkids and family ALWAYS came first including watching and supporting many of their sporting events. John was a sports enthusiast including playing softball, going to the horse races and was an avid Cleveland Browns and Indians fan. John was also a valued supporter of New Wilmington High School and Westminster College athletics.
He had an outward kindness that was felt by all and a deep faith in God and loved attending Sunday School.
Born on July 23, 1939, in Farrell, he was the son of the late John H. Sr. and Millie (Cara) Staul.
He also was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Staul.
Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Nancy L. (Papale) Staul; two daughters, Mary Lou Miller (Stevie) of Jacksonville, Fla., and Denise Staul of Sausalito, Calif.; a son, John Patrick Staul (Liz) of Camp Hill; a brother, Dennis R. Staul (Andrea) of Sharon; a sister-in-law, Rita Staul of Yorktown, Va.; three grandchildren, Patrick, Case and Jack; two nieces, Cara and Wendy; two nephews, A.J. and Brent.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bill Rudge Ministries, 280 North Buhl Drive, Hermitage, PA 16148.
