Sharon Steel was a part of his life for 41 years, as well as his time at the original McDonald's in Hermitage, where he was fondly known as "Uncle John" to many of the valley's kids. Years ago you could find him first on the scene of a fire or accident when he served with the Patagonia Fire Department. John served in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper during World War II.
To his children, grandchildren and great-grandchild, he was the greatest and will be dearly missed.
Hope you find your horse!
