Jerry McKeithan, 62, of Farrell, was called home on Dec. 30, 2017, after a period of declining health.
Jerry was born on Oct. 14, 1955, in Hoffman, N.C., to the late Jannie Mae McKeithan and was raised by his grandparents, James and Mary McKeithan. Throughout his life, Jerry enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, cooking and repairing a variety of cars.
Mr. McKeithan was a beloved member of the Second Baptist Church in Sharpsville, where he sang in the Male Chorus and Mass Choir.
Before being a patient at Nugent Nursing Home, Jerry's Aunt Mattie made his last years thrive as she willingly made her house his home, and attended to his every need until his health journey became excessive.
Jerry is survived by his four siblings, Celester (Cathy) McKeithan of Vass, N.C., Ricky McKeithan and Gladys Bright, both of Hoffman, N.C., Mary Witcher of Farrell; his special aunts and uncles: Mattie Jones; Reverend James (Verna) McKeithan, both of Farrell, Curtis McKeithan of Hoffman, N.C., Fred (JoAnn) McKeithan of Taylorsville, N.C., and Linda McKeithan of Warren, Ohio. His memory will be cherished also by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; two sisters, Aleatha and Mrs. Daniel (Perl) Dean; and five brothers, Clearance, Ernest, Jessie, Norman and Laverne.

Calling hours: 9 a.m. until the time of service Saturday (1-6-18) at Second Baptist Church, 4 High St., Sharpsville.
Service: Funeral at 10 a.m. Saturday (1-6-18) at the church, with the Rev. James McKeithan officiating.
