Jeremy "Jer" L. Jewell

Jeremy "Jer" L. Jewell, of Sharon, passed away during the morning hours of Friday, Sept. 7, 2018, in the Emergency Room of Sharon Regional Medical Center, following an apparent heart attack. He was 34.
Jeremy was born on March 24, 1984, in Youngstown, Ohio, a son of Dale L. and Janice M. (Schell) Jewell.
A 2002 graduate of Sharon High School, he furthered his education at Thiel College, where in 2006, he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology.
He worked as a case worker for First Step Recovery Detox and Treatment Center, Warren, Ohio.
He was a huge Florida State University Seminoles fan and team booster. In addition, he loved the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cleveland Cavaliers. He was an avid sports fan. However, Jeremy loved bowling with his dad and spending time with his family most of all.
Survivors include his parents, Dale and Janice of Sharon; his daughter, whom he adored, Hannah R. Jewell, of Temple; his stepson, Ethan C. Medley, of Girard, Ohio; and his many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frances W. and Dorothy E. Jewell and Kenneth and Alice Schell Sr.; his step-grandmother, Ruth Jewell; and his uncles, Roger Schell, Paul and Gordon Jewell.
The family asks that no flowers be sent due to allergies. Memorials may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.

Service: Funeral will be 1 p.m. Tuesday (9-11-18) at the church.

He use to babysit me when I was little also my next door neighbor.. I’m sorry for your loss ❤️
