Jean L. Fulford passed away on Thursday, Sept. 14, 2017, at 3:30 a.m. in Jameson UPMC Hospital, New Castle. She was 90. She was a resident of Wheatland and recently of Nugent Convalescent Home in Hermitage.
She was born in Force, Pa., on Dec. 25, 1926, to Hugo and Anna Floravit Agosti. She married David C. "Hank" Fulford on Aug. 28, 1948. He passed on Nov. 4, 1997.
Jean was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Farrell. She attended Weedville Schools near Force. She was a member of the Wheatland American Legion Post 432 Auxiliary. Among her pastimes were reading, puzzle books, collecting cookbooks, baking and tending her flower and vegetable garden. She was an avid fan of Farrell High School sports teams.
Jean is survived by a son, Randy J. (Amy) Fulford, in Sharpsville; a sister, Zelma Lapcevich, in Sharon; three brothers, Albert in LaConner, Wash., John of Rondo, S.C. and Charles (Donna) of Midlothian, Va. Also surviving are five grandchildren: Shannon (Brandon) Weimerskir, Sarah and Keely Fulford and Ryan and Nicholas Camerlengo; two step-grandchildren, Elisha Leavy and Adrienne diGiorgi; and three great-grandchildren, Jude and Oliver Leavy and Olivia diGiorgi.
Jean is preceded in death by a daughter, Lynn R. Camerlengo; a son, David C.; and brothers David and Raymond.
