Jean's Story

Jean Kay Crenshaw, 75, of Geneva, Ohio, passed away on Sunday (Feb. 11, 2018) at her home.
Born June 4, 1942, in Des Moines, Iowa, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Lilian (Adams) Brandenburg.
Jean's love for her home in Colorado and her family was never-ending. She attended Colorado State University and worked as a teachers aide for many years She also worked for Ames Department Store and would eventually retire as an administrative assistant from Dr. John Court's Chiropractic Clinic in Grove City.
A 30-year survivor of Parkinson's, Jean was a fighter and continued to do the things she loved. Baking, eating, shopping trips, tending to her garden and playing bingo at the Geneva Senior Center were among her favorite things to do.
Jean is survived by: her daughter, Jennifer (Maryann Gear) Crenshaw; son, Sean (Sandra) Crenshaw; granddaughter, Jazmine; brother, Ed Brandenburg; sisters, Shirley Elfbrandt, Ruth Ilten, and Joyce Kinnersley; brother-in-law, Alden Hill; dear friends, Ruth Seybert, Carol Amon, Jeannie Harper, and Monica Gear.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Janice Hill.
Private family services will be observed for Jean.
