Janet McCleery, 79, of Hubbard, died Sunday evening Dec. 10, 2017, at her home.
She was born Sept. 4, 1938, in Sharon, a daughter of William W. and Leola Speer Williams and was a lifelong area resident.
Mrs. McCleery, a homemaker, was a graduate of Hickory High School. She enjoyed crocheting and watching Investigation ID on TV.
She was the love of Sal Mickanin, who was by her side every day for the past 10 years and the very end.
She is survived by three sons, Chuck Myers of Masury, David (Diane) Myers of Warren and Paul Myers of Sharon; three daughters, Kimberly Bashor of Masury, Patti (Tom) Aquino of West Middlesex, and Carol (Richard) Rice of Masury; two brothers, Jim Williams of West Middlesex, and David Williams of Virginia; a sister, Bertha Dixon of Sharon; 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and her dogs, Bella, Cooper, Peanut and Daisey.
Janet had many special people in her life, including a special niece, Carrie L. Blair. She will be missed by many that loved her and especially by her dogs that loved her dearly.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Charles Myers; her second husband, Glen T. McCleery; a sister, Charlotte Rankin and a granddaughter, Heather Myers.
