James R. "Jim" Boyd of Pine Township, Grove City, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2017, following a brief illness. He was 55.
James was born in Grove City on March 23, 1961, to James G. and Alberta L. (Lawson) Boyd.
He was employed for the past 30 years as a leatherman at Bashlin Industries, Grove City.
Jim enjoyed playing golf, archery, hunting and camping along the Clarion River.
He is survived by two children, Mitchell J. Boyd of Grove City, and Elisha Boyd of Mercer; a granddaughter, Anberlin Boyd; three sisters, Barbara Jiancristoforo and her husband, Vito, of Hermitage, Donna Croy and her husband, Dave, of Grove City, and Sandra Dickson of Transfer.
His parents, and a sister, Beverly K. Boyd, preceded him in death.
