Harold  Dennison


Harold D. "Dee" Dennison, 88, of Grove City, passed away at home on Friday evening (May 17, 2019).
He was born in Grove City on Sept. 23, 1930, to Clarence H. and Harriett C. (Uber) Dennison.
Harold married Helen E. Covert on April 17, 1953; she preceded him in death on Feb. 17, 2018.
Harold retired from Mercer County Living Center.
During his retirement he was employed by the Grove City Borough as a crossing guard at Poplar and South Center streets for the past 30 years.
Harold served in the Army in the Korean War.
He enjoyed reading, walking, and in his younger years he and his wife enjoyed camping and traveling together.
Harold is survived by: a daughter, LuAnn Fiedler, Grove City; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandsons; two sisters, Winifred Redfoot, Alabama, and Edna Meals and husband, Bob, Slippery Rock; and a brother, Milford Dennison and wife, Hope, Grove City.
In addition to his parents and wife, Harold was preceded in death by: a son, Timothy F. Dennison, Sr.; and a sister, Erla Carpenter.

Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Thursday (5-23-19) at the funeral home.
Burial: Crestview Memorial Park, Inc., Grove City.

Dew and I always liked to stop and chat. We both will miss him, but, we both know he is in heaven with his beloved wife Helen .
