Grace A. Woofter
She was born Aug. 17, 1919, in Greene, Ohio, the daughter of Harry Crow and Edith Birdella Rice Crow Wolcott.
She attended Greene Local School most of her life and graduated from Farmington High School.
Along with her husband, Stan, she was a part owner of Stanwade Metal Products in Hartford.
Grace was a longtime active member of Hartford United Methodist Church, its United Methodist Women, formerly the W.S.C.S., and served on many of committees of the church over the years. She took great joy in cooking for Youth Club and the church's spring and fall roast beef/turkey dinners.
She was also a member of the Trumbull County Farm Bureau and the former Hartford Grange.
She was a great Cleveland Indians fan.
She enjoyed bowling, playing cards and gardening and was a good artist. The thing that brought her the most happiness was her family.
On May 6, 2000, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley L. Woofter, whom she married June 10, 1938.
Grace is survived by: three daughters, Karen (Dale) Likens of Forsyth, Ga.; Regina (Steve) McCalister of Fowler; and Marjorie (Pete) Hunkus of Kinsman; four sons, Ronald Woofter of Bowling Green, Ohio; Dennis (Sue) Woofter of Cortland; Timothy (Joni Jo) Woofter of Kinsman; and Thomas (Akemi) Woofter of San Leandro, Calif.; 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Lauralee Hunkus; a grandson, James McCalister; three great-grandchildren; two sisters; and four brothers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the memorial fund of Hartford United Methodist Church, Box 36, Hartford, OH 44424.

Calling hours: 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday (5-4-16) and noon to time of service Thursday (5-5-16) in Hartford United Methodist Church, 6846 state Route 305, Hartford.
Service: 2 p.m. Thursday, conducted by Rev. Mary Ann Rufener and Rev. Doug George.
Burial: Hartford Township Cemetery.
