Gerald Wayne Boozell, 89, of Grove City, passed away at his residence on Friday, Nov. 3, 2017 at 7:24 a.m. He was born in Harrisville on May 28, 1928, to Perry and Martha Stillwagon Boozell.
Mr. Boozell married Alice Elder Boozell on Dec. 16, 1950. She died Dec. 15, 1984). He then married Judith Barbour Boozell in March 1985. She died May 21, 2003.
He retired from Cooper Bessemer after 40 years.
Mr. Boozell was a Navy veteran.
He enjoyed bowling in various leagues, woodworking, automobiles and bird watching. He also liked watching football and baseball.
He is survived by three children, Donna L., wife of Daniel, Blauser of Grove City, James P. Boozell of Hillsboro, Ohio, and Stephen M. Boozell and his wife, Janet, of Palm Coast, Fla.; nine grandchildren; 11 greatgrandchildren; one sister, Marie Himes; and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; both wives; one grandson, Nathan Boozell; one brother, Roy Boozell; and one sister, Marjorie Dunn.

Service: Funeral at 1 p.m. Tuesday (11-7-17) at the funeral home, with the Rev. Amy Worline, assistant pastor at First Church of God officiating.
Burial: Crestview Memorial Park, Pine Township, with military Honors by Franklin Honor Guard.
