Frederick R. Beil died Friday, Nov. 10, 2017, surrounded by his beloved wife and family members at The Villages hospital in Florida.
Fred was born July 3, 1944, in Greenville, to the late Irene and Samuel F. Beil of Greenville.
Surviving Fred are his wife, Candise Campagna Beil, recently of Davenport, Iowa; his brother, Harry W. Beil of Williamsburg, Va.; five nephews; two nieces; five great-nephews; and five great-nieces.
Fred was preceded in death by his wife, Patti Phillips Beil of Sharon; a sister, Shirley I. Paga of Florida; a stepson, Keith L. Brannon of Sharon; and a nephew, Nathan S. Beil.
Fred was employed by Chicago Bridge and Iron in Greenville until its closing. He then worked at the Mercer County Courthouse. He ended his career working for HHSDR of Sharon and retired to The Villages, Fla.
Fred loved to play golf, especially with his nephews and brother. His yearly Disney pass saw much use with hundreds of visits to the park. He adored his nieces and nephews and cherished the time spent with them. They meant the world to him, and they knew it. Fred was a 3rd Degree Mason of the Greenville Masonic Lodge.
A family gravesite burial will be held at 11 a.m. at Saturday (1-27-18) at the Shenango Valley Cemetery, Greenville. Family, friends, and co-workers are invited to a celebration of Fred's life from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday (1-27-18) at the former Greenville Country Club.
